First Pattern

Decided to make something without a pre-written pattern. It's a simple vest for my baby with checkers in the front and a plain back. Cos it's my first, I want to play safe. So far the back is easy, was able to calculate my knitting guage, translate it to the number of cast on sts and i'm making upward progress.
Proud of myself!!!!

Ok now I've had to drop this to get some other jobs done and I'm not too happy about that. will have to keep this on hold till i'm free again.

My Kindle

I bought myself a  kindle and I am enjoying learning to use. at least it will be easier for me to carry my knitting patterns around as against printing so many papers.

Home make-over

Been giving my home a face lift for the past 2 weeks. At the last stage now and I can say cleaning up is NO fun! aaaggghhhh!!!! I'm fagged out and I wonder if i can still get up in the morning after all this work. couldn't knit much this week cos of the home work but hope to finish what i am making soon .
